Pawdners Pet Resort is proud to offer dog training for just about anything you could ever need. Our training options include pet obedience and manners, off leash obedience, service dog training, behavior modification for reactive or aggressive dogs, detection and nose work, competitive obedience, and training for hunting and sporting field dogs. Pet and Service Dog Training
Level 1
Our Level 1 Program is for dogs who need to work on basic manners, simple skills, or need an obedience refresher.
This program includes 4, 1 hour private lessons to work on one or more of the following skills:
Basic manners such as preventing jumping and begging, or teaching door boundaries
Teaching a recall
Puppy house training
Socializing and raising a puppy properly to create a well behaved adult dog
Dogs who have had training before but need a tune up
Level 2
Our Level 2 Program is for dogs who need to work on basic obedience and manners at home and in the neighborhood. All obedience is on leash.
This program focuses on one or all of the following skills:
Basic manners such as preventing jumping and begging, and teaching door boundaries
Sit, down, stay, place, heel, and come
Puppy socialization, crate games and more
We have two options for this program - either 6, 1 hour private lessons or Day Training for 3 weeks, 3 days a week which includes private lessons each week.
LEVEL 3
Our Level 3 Program is for owners who want their dogs to listen in home and in public around a variety of distractions. We will teach your dog everything they need to be a polite, well rounded, obedient companion. Includes teaching an off leash recall.
This program focuses on one or all of the following skills:
Basic manners such as preventing jumping and begging, and teaching door boundaries
Advanced manners such as relaxing under a restaurant table, ignoring dropped food, saying hi on command, hiking manners, crate training and more
Sit, down, stay, place, heel, come, leave it
We have three options for this program:
10, 1 hour private lessons
Day Training for 6 weeks, 3 days a week, including private lessons each week
3 week board and train + 3 private lessons
Custom Programs
If our level system doesn’t fit the goals you have for your dog, please reach out to us about designing a custom program. Behavior modification for aggressive and reactive dogs is considered a “Level 3” program, but we tailor the training to what your pup needs to work on. We offer service dog training for PTSD/psychiatric assistance, medical alert and response, mobility assistance, Autism assistance, allergen detection and more.
Field and Sporting Dog Training
We offer training for hunting, field and sporting dogs through Fowland Kennels. Please contact us for more information.
